Dr. Elaine Ingham – What is Regenerative Ag: The Return of Life to the Soil

Live Event

Dr. Elaine introduces soil food web biology and mechanisms, describing how microorganisms create the foundation for regenerative food solutions. How can we design practical methods to restore broken soils? She answers this key question, by explaining how aerobic microorganisms repair and maintain healthy and fertile agroecosystems. When humans work in tandem with holistic and scientific soil dynamics, we can achieve amazing outcomes.

John Kempf – Plant Health Creates Soil Health

Live Event

It is commonly said that it takes healthy soil to produce healthy crops, but what does it take to produce healthy soil? In the presentation John Kempf will describe how healthy plants photosynthesize more efficiently than less healthy plants, and increase the volume of carbon being cycled through an ecosystem. Without the carbon contribution originating from plants, there is no food source for soil biology, and soil is nothing more than undecomposed rock particulate. Plants capture the energy source that drives the development of healthy soil, not the other way around.

Nicole Masters – Next big ticket or the next big shift?

Live Event

The principles of regenerative soil systems are shaped by our landscape, contexts and individual philosophies. Any practice can result in soil building or soil degradation, the outcomes are dependent on the hands and mindset of the people on the ground. How can we connect more deeply with our contexts to supercharge our soils? IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a LIVE event. You will be participating in Zoom.
